A rhombus is basically a diomand but you will usualy see it on it's side so that all opposite sides are parallel. The formula for a rhombus is DiagonalxDiagonal divided by 2. A rhombus in the real world could be a hazard ahead sighn like this one it is a diomand and if you flip it over it has parallel sides
